The list of female-led success is rapidly rising.
Female entrepreneurs are showing more and more entrepreneur courage every day.
Women are reshaping and disrupting their industries by helping others succeed–while shattering the corporate glass ceiling. The number of women in CEO positions heading Fortune 500 companies rose to a record 74 in 2022, or 15% of the entire list. Between 8 million and 10 million small and medium-sized enterprises across the world have at least one female owner, the World Bank says in its Female Entrepreneurship Resource Point.
While this rise is encouraging, female entrepreneurs still face a lot of hurdles. There are still many challenges faced by all leaders today–from stereotypes to corporate culture biases. In order to set a winning strategy, leaders need a firm understanding of the dynamics driving change and innovation, as well as have access to the tools for securing growth opportunities and reducing risk. Leaders in any space need to stay ahead of the curve.
Every day is an opportunity to make an impact that matters at all levels.
Ethics and integrity are fundamentals, not negotiables. Female entrepreneurs lead by example. Our challenges are unique sharing value and inspiration for our clients, customers, and other entrepreneur professionals in the fast-changing global world of business.
Even with the opportunity for hybrid working, challenges still exist in the workplace. Women report stress, feel burned out, have taken time off due to mental health challenges, and don’t feel comfortable disclosing mental health challenges as the reason for their absence.
Women are looking at entrepreneurship as being a brighter future.
The “Great Resignation” is more appealing than the bleak outlook of stress, burnout, and limited advancement. Perhaps more employers are getting it right, however, entrepreneurship has women wanting to make well-being a priority for themselves and their family.
Multi-passionate female entrepreneurs are role models who are making an impact in their communites. They strive for excellence and are making positive change. As leaders, they’re motivated to take the next step by challenging themselves. They are laser-focused; leading with purpose and the desire to make an impact that truly matters.
Effective leaders do not come from a mold.
Today’s women who lead are influencers but with a nontraditional leadership style. Some describe themselves as transformational leaders. This leadership style actively works to make their interactions with others positive. These women encourage participation, share power and information to enhance other people’s self-worth, and get others excited about their work. Encouraging participation, sharing power and information has its risks; however, it energizes others and creates enthusiasm. It, in fact, creates the path of least resistance.
Feminine Energy often shows up in transformational leadership as nurturing, collaborative, and having a desire for work-life balance. The rise of the feminine and its free expression has been an integral piece of this empowerment. To be clear, we need BOTH masculine and feminine energy.
Finding the balance between your masculine energy and feminine energy inspires you with more confidence, instead of self-doubt and fear. The balance empowers you to create stability for your business, no matter how adventurous your ideas might be.
Lead in a way that feels right for you.
Trust your intuition and tap into the unique combination of traits you possess. This balance will bring out the potential in yourself that goes beyond what you could have ever imagined! No matter the leadership style, women have the ability to make a real impact. Female-led success is on the rise. Embrace your uniqueness and what’s genuine for you. Women are reinventing leadership and tapping into their full potential. It is possible for female entrepreneurs to break through the glass ceiling.
