Today begins a new month, a new year, and a new decade for me. We’ve known each other for almost six decades but I’ve ignored you. I’ve been hard on you. I certainly haven’t made much Time for You. I’m making a conscious effort to change all that. I’d like to introduce myself to you as I embark on a new decade and a new journey.
As a female entrepreneur, I completely understand how easy it is to prioritize everything but ourselves. Neglecting myself with worry, procrastination, all my fears, and comparing myself to every other woman was not the road to success. Now as an empty nester in this season of my life, I’ve discovered understanding the importance of finding balance while working from home has always been my passion. I’m also an ambitious female entrepreneur who’s passionate about helping other women scale their expensive hobbies and turn them into irresistible offers.
I would like you to join me on the road to discovery. I’m starting a new podcast called Time for You offering knowledge, inspiration, and entertainment as we evolve as female entrepreneurs.
Getting started I had to ask myself the following questions:
- Why are you starting a podcast?
- Why are you passionate about it?
- What is your goal that you want to achieve by having a podcast?
- Who is your ideal listener? Where and when do they tune in?
- How much time do they have to devote to an episode?
- How can you create content that actually gets consumed?
Answering these questions has helped me become laser-focused with creating my own podcast. I will bring business and marketing topics to help female entrepreneurs make a profit from their passion. As a female entrepreneur, it’s important for others to understand what you’re about and what you do. Let’s spread the news and scream it from the housetops. Whether you’re a dreamer, have a side hustle, or you’re growing an empire, this is the podcast for you. All of these questions are questions we all have:
How do I build my entrepreneur powerhouse? How do I prioritize self-care, master time management, and maintain my own wellness? How do I build momentum when I just feel stuck? How can I create a positive impact and a positive ROI? Can I really be a multi-passionate female entrepreneur?
This podcast will serve female entrepreneurs who are stuck and struggling to help them break through the barriers and the glass ceiling while claiming their success. It’s no secret in this crowded highly competitive business world, we need to stand out. It’s even more important at a deeper level to stand up for ourselves.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that we can’t do it all alone. Would you consider supporting my podcast journey? We thrive when we create partnerships and collaborations. I’m excited about this new chapter, and I’m honored to be able to share it with you. Come, be a part of this journey and let’s prioritize business wellness. Stay tuned for the pre-launch of my podcast, and if you’re eager to know when it drops, be sure to sign up for updates.

Starting a podcast sounds like an exciting adventure, Lisa. I’m past the stage and age of wanting to be an entrepreneur. I’m 10 years into retirement. Plus I don’t have the entrepreneur personality. So I am not your ideal listener. But I will give you a listen when I have some idle moments.
Thank you Lily. I thought I would blog my journey about starting a podcast so I really appreciate you following along!
Lisa, I would like to hear more about what you are starting new *from*. Have you been in business a long time? Have you been a solopreneur? Would you like interviewees for your podcast? Like me? I have had a holistic coaching and energy healing practice for 40 years, and I teach and speak. I am glad you are re-launching and look forward to whatever else you may share.
Thank you! I appreciate your comment and I’m looking forward to sharing my journey. Thanks for following along.
It’s great to meet you. You and your new podcast sound fabulous. I look forward to reading more from you. I am also an empty nester in my early 50s and considering freelancing for the first time. I’m sure you will have great advice for all of us trying to turn our passions into profits. You can find me at lifewithoutamanual.org – xo – Elisa
Thank you! It’s great to meet you as well!
What’s the goal behind your podcast? Does it dovetail with your blog or handle different issues. Looking forwatrd to the journey
Great questions Roy. I wish my mind worked like yours. My blog and my podcast compliment one another. Blogging my progress allows me to be laser-focused on serving female entrepreneurs and their unique experiences. My goal is to help female entrepreneurs who are stuck and struggling learn from each other’s experiences rather than focusing on competition.
